sick

I feel terribly sick today...my condition is really worst. Why? Because
whenever I have my period (like Marian) I'll be crouching in pain. This
time not only am I agonizing in that kind of pain but
I
am also throwing up! Ugh...I hate throwing up -smells and taste very
foul.
I don't know why I felt so.......terrible. I hate this kind of feeling.
It
makes me feel both hot and cold (my temperature) I really don't know
how
but a part of my body shivers and a part feel so hot..that is how hard
it
is for me whenever I got this 'thing'. Then my eyes are all droopy...my
body won't function anymore. I AM WORSE THAN EVER.

I cut work today...I really can't continue with this kind of health...I
feel terrible. I am worst than ever! I hate having my period..I hate
it!!
I wish I could erase it from my system or remove that part of the body
that produces that 'thing'. I wish it was detachable!

I got the afternoon free, wonder what I wanted to do? Hum...watch some
DVD? Browse the net more? Do layouts?

-2

The other day, I had a terrible fight with my dad and mom...Honestly,
it's
really not my fault. HONESTLY! I don't want to argue about it anymore
so I
just accepted the blame. I mean, they won't hear me out either since
they
are mad to their bones, so I guess you just better shut up (and for me,
I
cried and cried! - I'm a cry baby!)

*/edit my mom and I are okay...my dad? Not in speaking terms....I
don't know till when...ugh...*

Walk to the Movie

REVIEWS:

Man of the House

Tommy Lee Jones stars in this wacky, bubbly movie. This time he took
over 5 beautiful, sassy, and fun cheerleaders who just want to have fun. After witnessing a murder, the 5 cheerleaders find themselves being guarded by Texas police Tommy Lee and two other companies. Each 5 of the cheerleaders have distinctive behaviors and characters, although some of them wasn't given much attention and exposure as the others. The movie also shows the serious-funny side of Mr. Jones. Although it was a light story, and the plot wasn't that tight (I've guess who the killer was from the beginning - it was too obvious) and the climax wasn't high enough, I guess people would still love to see it just for the sake of seeing another cheerleading story - bring it on!

Must watch out scene:
1. the show down between the priest and the cheerleaders
2. the wedding proper
3. the ice-skating

If Only

Movie itself: I just want to write a review for this
movie, truly, one of the best romantic movie I have ever seen. The
story is not draggy, not even one bit...you'll look for the next and what will happen. You might even compare it to the start and analyze it til the end. The flow of the story is simultaneous and each scene is as important as the other one, each scene shows how love should be and how things could be. You will be shocked, depressed, amazed...you'll feel like crying, laughing, crying, laughing all over again...it is a rollercoaster mood-movie! I consider it as a classic in my list and a story I might say, is not a waste of my money. Highly recommended whether you are watching it with a firiend, or better yet, a love one.

Emphasize on: Love. The importance of it, how we should not wait for it to be lost before appreciating it. That each day is a day we should treasure and make the most out of. We should not take for granted the gift of love, because even the Bible says - But above
all LOVE.

For the actors: Jennifer Love may look like a bit
anorexic (okay, not bit..but alot!), but she carried the movie nicely and her acting was as great as before. No comment against her! The leading guy was a total cutie, minus the double chin he possess. He acted amazingly and gave justice to his character.

Solitude

state of being alone: the state of being alone, separated from other people, whether considered as a welcome freedom from disturbance or as an unhappy loneliness

I am officially 6 days silent with my dad. Galing nh? The last word he spoke to me was: "oo..." when I told him I'll be home late.

Anyways, on to the happier stuff...I recently finished reading "Slave to Fashion" but I am so not a slave to it, the thing is the storyline seems okay, great one-liners and a story about the rise and fall (once again) with of course, the world of fashion revolving around it....

Now I am reading "Three Weeks with My Brother" and "The Asti Spumante Code" which is a parody of "Da Vinci's Code" haha....it sure looks good...I hope it is good...

Being alone and in solitude really helps me think.

*Sometimes I wonder if in this world someone is totally like me, and doing the same thing as what I am doing right now...it kills to be alone in this world when you know there could be someone.
*Being alone means more time for me to read and relax my thoughts...I mean from Monday to Friday I am working, I guess the weekend can sometimes be the place of solitude.

On note, I hate it when people text you for just a small mere reason or favor...depicts the essence of missing someone....damn!

Green Tea

Yes, I love it. Even before it was known to people, having it served 'hot' and drank it from a jap. restau is how I always envision green tea. But then I saw that in other country, like (what supposed to be my hometown, and my home away from home!) China, HK, Taiwan...they have vendo machines that only served either 'green' or 'red' tea...and hum..I was hoping that something like that would also happen here.

But by gawd! If the Filipino loves it. EVERYONE will do it. It all started with the drink...then the soap....then the cool and refreshing C2 (which made URC very rich)... then now...on a PAD! Yes, the pad that gals use whenever their period hatches...I saw the infomercial from KOTEX and they are advertising the usage of GREEN TEA. Amazing 'aye? We live in a country that will make everything and produces anything out of something that is VERY IN.

harhar....

On the side note, speaking of tree, ONE TREE HILL will be finally airing its last few episodes of season 2 this Aug 9 and the next coming week. So sad...I hope they'll start season 3 already I could not wait for what will happen...and for those who is also so excited and giddy about it...well, just drop by www.thewb.com and post your concerns...

A fascinating motto

It wasn't at all at a low ebb through all of this. And it's okay being poor when you are twenty-two. i dont think it stop being okay until you reach twenty-four. No, that is a little harsh. Twenty-four is still
just on the right side of the border. but twenty-five and poor is unforgivable, in any woman of ingenuity when cumbered by this or facial deformity."

I read this excerpt from the book "Slave to Fashion" by Rebecca Campbell, and this is one of the book I read twice because I stopped while in the middle then just completely forgot about it. Why not? When I am reading a gazillion other books...anyways, the motto is kind of either a downer or something that I should put appreciation too. Should I think about it? Definitely. My gawd! I am so reaching that age and I still am left with nothing...poor me...I need to make and think about something quick...or else? Yeah, it will definitely unforgivable to my part....definitely!

Sex sells?

As Nicole Richie suggested in the Simple Life -- "Don't you know sex sells?I mean it is already the year 2004!"

I was in the MRT when I my eyes wandered around and it landed on a billboard. Actually it is the second billboard that I saw with a sex sells type of logo...

Lets go back to the first stop...

THE KINSE AÑOS STORY
Yes, the brandy that started the riot, the brandy that had endorsed its brandy this way -- "Have you tasted a 15-year old?" or in our language -- "Nakatikim ka na ba na kinse anyos?" Here is the photo of it:

billboard1

Then came....
Virgin Softdrinks
The slogan has been changed since it was argued alot by people. And in Edsa while I was in the MRT I saw the billboard with the slogan "Virgin - You Know You Want to Taste One" while in this billboard you'll see another slogan (this one has been altered already):

billboard2

Actually am not that much affected because I don't take it seriously, after all, it is all for 'advertising' and being on marketing, well, I understand them. But I think they should also consider other people's comment about it since some are more sensitive than the average person. Like for example, the group of Gabriella who fights for women's right...we should consider how they will feel about those ads that has been coming out.

Anyways, that is the way of people, wherever the money is, be it offensive or not to other people....sometimes MONEY really can control people.

"Money is definitely the root of all evil"

Amen to that.

WattaSaturday

BewitchedWoke up late because I am so tired, I got upset stomach but it didn't hinder from going out and watching Bewitched at Rockwell. It was a cute, quirky movie that will make you laugh and laugh. Will Farell was amazing, and Nicole Kidman was tall, sophisticated, and great at twitching her nose. The story was not at all the old-television series, the movie was an all-knew Bewitched with just the same notion that the lead actor didn't know he married a witch. It was envious to see how life could be with 'magic', it makes me wonder what I can do with just the snap of my finger 'viola!' a new dress... Oh, I bought lovely tops that are just lovely...they are one of a kind! I can feel the Olsen Twins spirit while I was fitting those tops, and I finally found my black-bolero for office-casual top...haha...all end that ends well. I was wondering if I should watch The Great Raid, critics shows it was only a B movie, not even an A-, plus I am so discourage by seeing Cesar Montano on it, no offence on the guy, but really am not a fan. So if you have seen it, post a comment so I'll know if it is worth the money and time...

Heaven? This is my first time to eat at Heaven and Eggs, which a reliable source told me, was formerly the Country Waffles (now defunct). The place is with good ambiance, design was simple but cute, waiters with wings in their back, the ice tea was bottomless and they offer two kinds - chrysantenum and dayap...I had the minute steak and it was good, thin slices and serving was huge enough for more than a person. Thank God it was worth the 40-mins waiting...But the funny things are really funny...here are some of my conversation with the waitress that are really hilarious! The only problem with the restaurant is the people, the management could do better.

First funnny encounter...
Me: Miss additional mineral water please
Waiter: Ma'am anong table number nyo?
Me: (silently) ngyak! Malay ko anong table number ko.

* obviously I am the customer, how would I know that table number of THEIR restaurants? If you are working in a restau, you should know what table number they are sitting...I learned this from TGIF (thank god!)

My sister was already eating and my order has not yet come...
Me: Miss pa follow up...
Waiter: Ng ano po? Order nyo?
Me: (silently) nge. obviously order ko, what will I follow up with her?

Kaloka!

Club Halo...(not the club that was 'active' like before, and 'lively' as Embassy is right now...but who cares? We had pictures of fun!)

Note the word: pictures of fun

We first ate at Krokodile, met with some of Elaine's block-mates (namely: ingrid, honey, sheryl, and the late but not the least - Ziggy!) then if dinner wasn't enough...we went to Bizu to satisfy our sweet tastebuds....after that we went to the pub and watch the fashion show that only lasted around 15 minutes! The wait was even longer than the show...the clothes were amazing, but the model wasn't (honestly!)

Dear joanna,
Here is your single's love horoscope
for Thursday, August 25:

Don't take the first thing that comes your way right now, even if it seems like a good deal. Hold out for something (or someone) truly great. You deserve only the best.

So funny...I wonder hopefully this is true...

5 Ways God Uses Problems

5 Ways God Uses Problems

The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you - depending
on
how you respond to them.

Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems
for
good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems
rather
than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring.

Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life:

1. God uses problems to DIRECT you.

Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems
often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God
trying
to get your attention? "Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make
us
change our ways." Proverbs 20:30

2. God uses problems to INSPECT you.

People are like tea bags...if you want to know what's inside them, just
drop them into hot ever water! Has God tested your faith with a problem
What do problems reveal about you? "When you have many kinds of
troubles,
you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test
your
faith, and this will give you patience." James 1:2-3

3. God uses problems to CORRECT you.

Some lessons we learn only through! pain and failure. It's likely that
as
a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you
probably
learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of
something...health, money, a relationship... by losing it. "It was the
best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay
attention to your laws."Psalm 119:71-72

4. God uses problems to PROTECT you.

A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being
harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend was fired for
refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do.
His
unemployment was a problem - but it saved him from being convicted and
sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually
discovered. "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good..."
Genesis 50:! 20

5. God uses problems to PERFECT you.

Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is
far
more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship
to
God and your character are the only two things you're going to take
with
you into eternity. "We can rejoice when we run into problems... they
help
us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in
us
and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope
and
faith are strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4

Here's the point:

God is at work in your life - even when you do not recognize it or
understand it. But it's much easier and profitable when you coop! erate
with Him.

"Success can be measured not only in achievements, but in lessons
learned,
lives touched and moments shared along the way."

Oh- the work entry!

I was looking through some of my past entries and was enjoying the entries I wrote this April '05. Interesting because most of the entries involved work! Hum...which reminds me to post something about work...I mean it is almost 6 months (make that, 6 f**king hell months!)

To start off...

Business has been booming (what I mean was, there are lots of activities that involves investment on my part)...I was able to sell pants, clothing, accessories...it is like a mini-bazaar inside the office! Anyways, friends come and go...office-mates? Same story...Hum...4 people already resigned in the course of 6 months (and this is pertaining only to my office-crowd, not including the whole bank!)....unbelievable? Believe it. Boss? Bossier! haha...workload? Sometimes full, other times -- not so full (nge!) Figure? Um...change topic please...

Oh...I was selling original L'oreal products but the stock run out...it was a fast selling product...darn! If only it was e-mailed to me earlier then all my orders could have been received, but any-hoo...I am enjoying my SLIMGEL (i'm feeling the effect! hope it works..this is my 1 day of using it) then eyeliner (which is terribly SO DARN NICE!!) and that was all that I was able to buy...everything else that I ordered and my friends ordered? SOLD OUT! So next time...I really hope to be told earlier....

Got to sleep a bazaar tomorrow has caught my attention and schedule...ta-ta!!

Just for the purpose of having one..but then, if the price for this AMAZINGLY BRANDED TISSUE is more than a hundred...tata for that..I might want a Luis, but not a tissue....

For those LV addicts, well, congratulations...hail to another new collection that will surely make you...CLEAN CLEAN....
