The day was utterly perfect...spend it with someone you love and the day will love you back...Cooked for him (the food he loves -- but there was still a glitch on the samosas, but still he loved it!), watched HBO, and unfortunately UAAP (I'm not a fan I get bored watching it on TV, plus the fact that my University is not inlcuded), then went off to see The Wicker Man supposedly in Greenhills, we arrived kinda late, plus the tremendously long line didn't help...so we ended up watching at Libis...it was nice though, the place wasn't crowded (bec of the rain i think!), the fact that I haven't been there since God knows when... and all the foody you can get!! Yum..oh they even have neoprints booth (which he didn't like, so well, next time nalang with my girlfriends!) haha...but really I HAD LOADS OF FUN!! The movie was not what I expected...the ending could do better..but seeing Nicholas Cage (and those 'talking eyes') *droops* makes me forget about the flaws of the movie! IF ANYONE KNOWS NICHOLAS CAGE, COULD YOU PLEASE INTRODUCE ME TO HIM?? I BEG OF YOU Then ate dessert at Jack's Loft (God knows when I was last there too!) Anyhoo, the most fun part was that it was raining and there was a short distance between the parking lot and the mall...so he gave me his jacket and hold me in the waist (so I won't fall - i love it when he does that! *suckers for sweetness...*) The day ended up so lovely... we even got the chance to talk about our 'first' moments...silly us!!


Ps. Seven months tom! And I love you more and more...


PPs. Our office is having this moonfest party on the 26th of September and I am still in search of that perfect dress...ugh...

Me going to write something "in-depth" one day... I just feel like writing one...

Moonfest Fever.




The event happened last September 26,2006. The dreadful, tiresome day where people have to dress up, be friendly, try to be cheerful (even if your feet are soaring with pain), and well, try to eat your heart out.


1:30pm

We arrived at the lobby of Renaissance Hotel (formerly known at the New World Hotel), canâ??t fix the ballroom since the other events are not yet over. So we went to our mini-room â?? called â??Lotusâ?? and fix the moon cake bags. The bank got the 1st, 2nd and 3rd ballroom. The second one was already vacant, but the management of the hotel still is not moving a thingâ?¦darn the party needed to start and the tables be ready at around 5:30pm. (That includes us being all fresh and pretty-pretty!) Anyhowâ?¦I couldnâ??t feel my legs anymore, they are DYING because of the way we are preparing and fixing each table, I was walking back and forth the room and to the ballroomâ?¦(Note: that I was wearing my comfy Haviannas, and still my feet are aching.) Was also walking back and forth for the set-up of prizes per tables...carrying canned goods, tetra pack juices, chocolates, and a whole bunch of other stuff was really â??not my thingâ?? because I wasnâ??t born with the â??musclesâ?? and the â??strengthsâ?? I admit Iâ??m a weakling. Iâ??m a lazy ass-bitch who hates to move and workâ?¦maybe that is why Iâ??m getting FAT! Darn!!

Did I mention the food that was served to us was mouth-watering? I love every bit of themâ?¦the beef, the dumplings, the noodles, the fish, and much moreâ?¦thank God we ate what the guests ate! - FAT!


6:00pm

Just finished getting dress, make-up and stuffâ?¦whew! And I hurrying myself because the final touches in the room wasnâ??t done yet. A lot of stuff still needed to be finished, pieces were missing, people (game hosts â?? who UNFORTUNATELY was busy eating and helping us was not in their â??voluntaryâ?? to-do list.) are missing. Ughâ?¦I could really peel their skin off, the wariness of the people are so flattering it makes me want to puke at them.


7:00pm

Final briefing was made by the head, after a few minutesâ?? guests were finally inside the ballroom and the ballgame---oopsâ?¦dice game I mean, started! My tables minor prizes run out quickly, but the chong wan (the grand prize) was taking a lot of my time, and putting a lot of pain in my feetâ?¦finally someone got it (she was still young, I think around my age) went up to have our picture taken, she got the food steamer which is pretty good alreadyâ?¦ the bank also has other â??grand prizesâ?? which includes component set, 29â??â?? tv, ipod, handycamâ?¦everything was great I wish I could have one of those! The night didnâ??t end that bad (time check: 9:30pm) it was fun at the end though, totally tiresome but fun! And of course, the pictures were overflowingâ?¦
